Membership - Joining ADI

The foundation of ADI’s strength lies with the talents of its individual members and trainees, and we are constantly looking to recruit new members to the Institute.  At present there are over 50 faculty appointees from the Universities of Alberta and Calgary that are members of the ADI, representing numerous departments from multiple Faculties that include Medicine, Physical Education, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Public Health.  Approximately half of these members reside within ADI space at the Li Ka Shing Centre for Health Research Innovation, taking advantage of state-of-the-art amenities and a cross-disciplinary environment where they can conduct diabetes-focused research.  Regardless of where they originate, members share one common aspect:  a passion to improve our understanding and treatment of diabetes.  ADI Members are also looking to recruit new trainees on a continuous basis.
